Product Description
The Sanzo Power TX-DV-015M-3-325322-AL is a 15 kVA three-phase dry-type isolation transformer that converts 480V delta power to 240V/120 delta, center tap for commercial and industrial distribution. The 240V delta secondary serves three-phase equipment and provides a 120V center tap for compatible single-phase loads. The high leg is not a 120V supply. Primary and secondary windings are electrically isolated.
Construction and enclosure
Aluminum windings, a 220°C insulation system and a 150°C temperature rise support general-purpose distribution duty. An electrostatic shield separates the primary and secondary windings, and natural-air ventilation cools the assembly.
The NEMA 3R steel enclosure supports indoor or outdoor floor mounting. Its bolt-together construction uses individually replaceable panels, allowing a damaged panel or an unwanted conduit opening to be repaired without replacing the complete housing. Upper hooded vents and continuous mounting runners complete the enclosure.
Voltage adjustment and installation
Primary adjustment taps — (2) 2.5% above, (4) 2.5% below nominal — allow the installer to match the winding connection to the incoming supply. This is a purpose-built step-down transformer with H primary terminals and X secondary terminals.
